Job Title: Enterprise Cloud Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Enterprise Cloud Architect. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient cloud-based applications using Java and AWS technologies.

  • 5-8 years of work experience in Java development with hands-on experience in Java 8 or newer versions.
  • Proficiency in unit testing using JUnit, Mockito, and PowerMock.
  • Experience with Spring frameworks, including Spring Boot and JPA.
  • Strong coding skills in Java/Spring Boot, with expertise in debugging, implementing, and documenting applications.
  • Familiarity with build and automation tools like Git, Jenkins/Bamboo, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, including DynamoDB, Aurora, ECS, and RDS.
  • Good database skills, including SQL queries and joins, as well as domain and conceptual knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.
  • Investment management domain knowledge is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create cloud-based architectures that meet business requirements.
  2. Develop and deploy cloud-based applications using Java and AWS technologies.
  3. Design and implement scalable and efficient database solutions.
  4. Maintain and improve existing cloud-based systems.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in software development, preferably in cloud-based environments.
  • Expertise in Java development, including Spring frameworks and unit testing.
  • Experience with AWS services, including DynamoDB, Aurora, ECS, and RDS.
  • Strong understanding of database concepts, including SQL queries and joins.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
