Manufacturing Process Specialist Job Description

The role of a Manufacturing Process Specialist is pivotal in the creation and implementation of product manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include gathering requirements for process design, collaborating with experts to determine specifications, and developing data for equipment management.

  • Gathering requirements for process design of a product.
  • Collaborating with operations, validation, and subject matter experts to determine the requirements for new process designs.
  • Designing and developing data for equipment management, inventory management, and user management in the manufacturing environment.
  • Creating detailed documentation for Manufacturing Bills of Records (MBRs) and Bills of Parameters (BOPs).
  • Designing and creating complex Product Instructions (PIs) for weighing & dispensing, manufacturing, and packaging processes.
  • Analyzing site-specific requirements for each process and converting them into Batch Records.
  • Validating created PIs for deployment.
  • Providing regular updates to Project Managers on issues, risks, and milestones.

Required Skills:

  • End-to-end implementation experience of industrial automation systems.
  • Experience with various modules including User Management, Process Control, Review, Weighing & Dispensing, Console, Equipment Management, Material Flow Management, Weigh & Dispense.
  • SAP interface, integrations, report development experience.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and practical application in design.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
