Job Description:

Launch innovative solutions in various aircraft platforms.

As a senior design engineer, you will report directly to the Senior Mechanical Engineering Supervisor. Your primary responsibility is to provide technical direction for existing and new product development, design, and systems integration from concept phase through implementation.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide technical expertise for product development, design, and systems integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives.
  • Responsible for plant support, including layout planning, equipment installation, and commissioning.
  • Ensure products meet quality and performance standards.
  • Develop and maintain engineering databases and documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

  • Excellent knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles.
  • Proficient in plastic and sheet metal component design and assembly integration.
  • Ability to achieve cost targets in design.
  • Knowledge of tolerance, chain of tolerancing, and GD&T.
  • Proficient in making 3D models, 2D drawings, and assembly drawings using CAD software.

Communication and Teamwork:

  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with local, global, and virtual teams.
  • Fluent in various CAD tools and analysis software.
