Real Estate Acquisition Specialist

Our ideal candidate will spearhead land sourcing and acquisition strategy, identifying and securing land parcels in targeted micro-markets.

The role requires evaluating feasibility, engaging with brokers and landowners, and facilitating the entire acquisition and closing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate land parcels in pre-defined target micro-markets
  • Build and maintain a strong network of brokers, landowners, developers, and other intermediaries
  • Actively track market opportunities and upcoming transactions
  • Conduct initial due diligence, including land title, zoning, FSI potential, ready reckoner rates, and development control regulations
  • Coordinate with internal analysts to prepare feasibility studies, financial models, and market assessments
  • Assess alignment of land parcels with our product design and business model
  • Organize and facilitate meetings between key stakeholders, including legal, finance, and management teams
  • Work with legal counsel, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of deals
  • Facilitate documentation, compliance, and closure of acquisition transactions

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Architecture, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in land acquisition, real estate development, or investment
  • Strong knowledge of Mumbai Development Control Regulations (DCR) and land acquisition processes
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing and closing land transactions
  • Established network with brokers, landowners, and developers in MMR (mandatory)
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills
