Senior Associate- Fund Accounting

 

 We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our team in the field of fund accounting.

 As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and success of our business. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing daily cash reports for active private equity secondaries funds, involving data collation from administrators, banking providers, and internal forecasts.
  • Reconciling movements in capacity, loan balances, and forecasting capacity to prior day reporting, adjusting manual forecast data for new deals and uncertain cash flows.
  • Reviewing cash management proposals from administrators and instructing them to make additional cash movements as required.
  • Formulating short-term forecasts for each fund and vehicle, proposing near-term cash management including loan drawdowns/repayments, Money Market Fund subscriptions/redemptions, and FX trades.
  • Liaising with fund owners within the Treasury team to review and agree proposals.
  • Preparing loan instructions and FX instructions to send to administrators and other 3rd party service providers.

 

Requirements
  • Post-graduate degree or relevant certifications (CFA, CA, MBA, CCRA, CIIA, CAIA).
  • 9+ years of experience in fund accounting is preferred.
  • Managing and/or leading employees for 2-3 years.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of PCAP and quarterly preparing PCAP.
  • Ability to work independently, identifying ways to enhance processes and outcomes that benefit the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize a large workload, managing multiple tasks and details simultaneously.
  • Initiative, willingness to learn, and take on responsibilities as a contributing team member.
  • Solutions-focused and able to work in unstructured environments under minimum supervision.
  • Knowledge of MS Office with strong skills in MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
