Job Title: Advertising Sales Manager Media & Entertainment

We are seeking a seasoned professional with expertise in advertising sales to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the media and entertainment industries, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and negotiations.

They will be responsible for conducting market research, identifying potential clients, and developing targeted advertising strategies to meet their needs.

A strong understanding of B2B and B2C sales cycles is essential, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, able to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic environment.

Requirements include 4+ years of experience in advertising sales, preferably within media, digital content, or entertainment industries.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in MS Office Suite, and hands-on experience with data discovery and lead generation tools are required.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential advertisers and sponsors across relevant sectors.
  • Actively prospect using platforms such as LinkedIn and industry databases to generate qualified leads.
  • Initiate contact through cold calling, inbound/outbound channels, and professional networking.
  • Set up and conduct virtual meetings (Zoom, Google Meet) to present advertising opportunities.

Relationship Building and Sales Strategy:
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within client organizations.
  • Act as a trusted partner to existing advertisers, ensuring fulfillment of deliverables and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Create and execute advertising sales strategies aligned with revenue goals.
  • Tailor advertising and sponsorship packages that align with the clients marketing needs.

Negotiation and Closing:
  • Lead negotiations, addressing client concerns and structuring win-win solutions.
  • Successfully close deals and secure long-term advertising partnerships for the show.

Reporting and Analysis:
  • Provide detailed reports on sales performance, pipeline health, and post-campaign results.
  • Use analytics and feedback to enhance future outreach, packages, and pricing.

Qualifications:

Experience in advertising sales, preferably within media, digital content, or entertainment industries.

4+ years of experience in advertising sales.

Strong understanding of B2B and B2C sales cycles.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Hands-on experience with data discovery and lead generation tools.
