We are seeking a Strategic Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of next-generation analytics platforms in the Microsoft ecosystem.

This role can be performed remotely, where you will define architecture, guide implementation, and enable data teams to deliver insights faster and with enterprise-grade governance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing scalable Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and analytics solutions in Microsoft Fabric. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing scalable Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and analytics solutions in Microsoft Fabric.
  • Building and optimizing data pipelines, transformations, and storage using Dataflows, Pipelines, Spark, and Delta Lake.
  • Translating business needs into technical solutions and driving ingestion-to-insight workflows.
  • Establishing CI/CD and IaC practices with Azure DevOps, ARM, or Terraform.
  • Ensuring governance, security, and compliance through Purview integration.
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing Fabric workloads.
  • Staying ahead of new Fabric capabilities and mentoring junior team members.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 8-12 years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or analytics.
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
  • A strong understanding of SQL, Python, or PySpark.
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Azure services.
  • Familiarity with IaC tools (ARM/Terraform) and data governance practices.
  • Nice to have: Power BI, Azure Databricks, or ML/AI exposure.
