Key Responsibilities for a Graphic Designer

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating compelling visual content that supports our mission of promoting sustainable urban mobility and community engagement.

This role requires a highly skilled and motivated individual who can contribute to improving urban mobility and creating safer public spaces.

  • Visual Communication & Branding
    • Develops visual concepts and designs for all print and digital media, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
    • Creates infographics, presentations, and other visual assets that communicate complex ideas clearly.
  • Campaign & Event Collateral
    • Designs materials for large-scale public campaigns and events, including posters, banners, social media graphics, and event signage.
    • Works with the team to create engaging visuals for public awareness campaigns aimed at diverse audiences, including children, youth, and vulnerable road users.
  • Content & Storytelling
    • Transforms research data and reports into visually engaging and easy-to-understand infographics and charts.
    • Supports the creation of visual narratives for success stories, case studies, and public-facing reports.
  • Digital & Social Media
    • Creates dynamic content for social media platforms (static images, short animations, GIFs) to drive engagement and amplify key messages.
    • Assists in maintaining and updating the organization's website with new visual content.
  • Photography & Videography
    • Helps capture and edit photos and videos from events and projects to build a rich visual library.
    • Works with external photographers and videographers as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a graphic designer, preferably with a focus on social impact or urban development.
  • Proven experience in creating successful visual campaigns for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva and other relevant tools.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluency in Hindi and English is a must.
