Professor in Anatomy

Seeking an accomplished Professor to lead the Anatomy Department in our esteemed institution.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional academic leadership skills, a strong research background, and a passion for teaching.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, guiding postgraduate students, and developing innovative teaching methodologies. They will also conduct and supervise original research projects, publish research papers, and collaborate with other departments on interdisciplinary research. Additionally, they will serve as Head/Coordinator of the Department (if designated), organize academic events, maintain departmental records, and ensure compliance with institutional standards.

We are looking for an individual who is well-versed in anatomy, histology, embryology, neuroanatomy, and clinical applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background, with evidence of research publications in indexed journals. Experience in curriculum development, e-learning, and modern teaching methodologies is highly preferred. • Academic & Teaching:
  • Deliver high-quality lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in Anatomy for MBBS, BDS, Nursing, and Allied Health Sciences students.
  • Guide postgraduate students in advanced anatomical studies, thesis writing, and seminars.
  • Develop innovative teaching methodologies including digital anatomy, simulation-based training, and cadaveric dissection.
  • Design and update the Anatomy curriculum as per NMC guidelines.
• Research & Publications:
  • Conduct and supervise original research projects in gross anatomy, histology, embryology, neuroanatomy, and clinical applications.
  • Publish research papers in reputed peer-reviewed national and international journals.
  • Guide Ph.D. scholars and postgraduate students in research methodology and publications.
  • Collaborate with other departments and external institutions on interdisciplinary research.
• Clinical Skills & Simulation:
  • Oversee Clinical Skills & Simulation Lab (if applicable).
  • Integrate anatomical knowledge with clinical case discussions and surgical correlations.
  • Promote cadaveric skill training for surgeons and postgraduate students.
• Qualifications & Experience:
  • MD (Anatomy) / MS (Anatomy) or equivalent recognized qualification.
  • 8+ Years of teaching experience in Anatomy as per NMC / MCI norms.
  • Strong academic background with evidence of research publications in indexed journals.
  • Experience in curriculum development, e-learning, and modern teaching methodologies preferred.
