Job Opportunity: Lead Controls Team

We are seeking a dynamic leader to spearhead our team of engineers in designing and implementing advanced control systems for large-scale automation solutions.

About the Role
  • Lead and mentor a team of controls engineers, ensuring skill and competency development through regular training and feedback sessions.
  • Manage team escalations, daily resource allocation, hiring, and subcontracting activities to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Identify training needs and implement structured training programs to upskill the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams as a consultant to drive business growth.
  • Monitor project risks and opportunities, driving improvements across teams to optimize system performance.
  • Ensure system performance validation through thorough testing and quality assurance processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues to minimize downtime and disruptions, thereby improving overall system reliability.
Technical Expertise
  • Strong knowledge of Siemens PLC (mandatory) and Allen Bradley PLC (preferred) is required for this role.
  • Hands-on experience in the design and execution of integrated control systems using PLC programming languages.
  • Ability to align control designs with project goals and objectives, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering (or related field).
  • 10–12 years of experience in PLC programming (Siemens required; Allen Bradley a plus).
  • Prior experience in Airport Baggage Handling Systems or Parcel Handling Solutions is highly desirable.
