Job Title: Problem Solver and Business Analyst

About This Role

We are seeking a skilled problem solver and business analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be working closely with colleagues to analyze business operations, identify problems, and develop solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in consulting or management advisory firms, Big4 accounting firms, or similar industries. They should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

As a business analyst, you will work on various projects, including efficiency measurements, business analysis, deal-making, negotiations, valuation, and structuring of deals.

You will also participate in Prequate Advisory's Knowledge Initiatives and stakeholder enrichment efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiency: Management reporting & Analytical MIS (40% of your time)
  • Transactions: Business analysis, deal-making, negotiations, valuation & structuring of deals (40% of your time)
  • Growth: Business value identification, strategy, market entry strategy, India entry strategy, and market research (20% of your time)
Requirements
  • MUST HAVES:
    • Experience in consulting or management advisory firms or Big4 accounting firms or business consulting firms or I-Banking firms or FP&A teams of Startups
    • Financial or business analysis or evaluation roles
    • Corporate finance/business finance roles
    • Management reporting/stakeholder management roles
    • Assurance or risk advisory roles
    • Efficiency measurements/assessment roles
  • GOOD TO HAVES:
    • Consulting/management advisory/Big4/I-Banking firm experience
    • Working with client business management
    • Investment banking or M&A or liaising with investors/networks
    • Efficiency measurements/assessment roles
    • Strategy offices/founders' offices/chief executive offices
    • Core research roles

Education Requirements
  • CA/CFA/CPA/CIMA and/or Management Degree - MBA/MS-FINANCE from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 management school anywhere in the world preferably in Finance, General Management, Business Strategy
