Job Title: Web Developer – WordPress

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Web Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing a portfolio of WordPress/WooCommerce websites across our group of companies.

This is a fully remote/home-based role with flexible setup. You will work across multiple brands within a growing group of companies and take ownership of projects where your impact is measurable.

The ideal candidate will have expert-level skills in WordPress customization (themes, plugins, hooks, filters) and strong knowledge of WooCommerce management, optimization, and scaling.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create new websites and customize existing ones using WordPress + Elementor templates.
  • Develop and manage custom plugins and advanced WooCommerce features.
  • Implement international website functionality (geo-location, multi-currency, multi-language).
  • Lead conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies across all sites.
  • Design and run A/B split tests, analyzing results and implementing improvements.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and data teams to maximize ROI.
  • Continuously improve technical performance, SEO, and user experience.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Key Skills:
  • Expert-level skills in WordPress customization (themes, plugins, hooks, filters).
  • Strong knowledge of WooCommerce management, optimization, and scaling.
  • Hands-on experience in CRO strategy, A/B testing, and analytics tracking.
  • Skilled in front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and PHP for WordPress.
  • Proven track record of increasing conversion rates.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and deliver measurable outcomes.
Advantageous Qualifications

Prior experience with BigQuery and Looker Studio for advanced reporting, SEO and page-speed optimization expertise, and previous experience with international e-commerce platforms are advantageous.
