About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience building and deploying AI-powered systems using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, and agentic frameworks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research and development on specific AI problems critical to power system operations, leveraging our vast datasets spanning decades. They will design, build, and deploy agentic AI systems using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and related agentic libraries.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Researching and developing new AI techniques to improve power system operations
  • Designing and implementing RAG systems and integrating vector databases or external knowledge stores
  • Fine-tuning and prompt-engineering LLMs for task-specific reasoning and planning
  • Leading the development of enterprise-grade AI platforms that integrate advanced generative AI and LLM technologies
  • Building and optimizing neural network models tailored to use cases in the energy/power systems industry

The successful candidate will possess:

Requirements
  • 3+ years building and deploying AI-powered systems using LLMs, RAG, and agentic architectures
  • Solid Python programming skills and experience with modern AI/ML libraries
  • Advanced knowledge of LLMs, including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and evaluation
  • Proven experience implementing RAG systems and integrating vector databases or external knowledge stores
