User Experience Visionary

As the UI/UX Design Lead at Hindustan Times, you will spearhead the development of intuitive and visually stunning user experiences that empower our users to make informed decisions. Your deep understanding of user-centered design principles, coupled with your ability to lead and inspire a team, will be crucial to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and implement the overall design vision and strategy for Hindustan Times.

- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and other stakeholders to align design efforts with business goals.

- Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.

- Develop user personas, journey maps, and customer experience maps to inform design decisions.

- Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that illustrate the user flow and functionality of digital products.

- Establish and maintain a comprehensive design system, including UI components, style guides, and design principles.

- Ensure consistency and scalability across the platform.

- Collaborate with development teams to implement design systems effectively.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Design, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a proven track record of leading design teams.

- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing complex data-driven products, ideally within the SaaS domain.

- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design vision and rationale.
