Compliance Manager

The role of the Compliance Manager is crucial in ensuring that an organization adheres to all relevant tax laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent knowledge of tax laws, strong analytical skills, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Taxation: Ensure timely compliance with GST, Income Tax, and other relevant laws.\
  • Labour Laws Compliance: Handle Labour Laws compliance, Return Filings, MCA filings, resolutions, Assessments, and other related tasks.\
  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely statutory compliance and support audits, reply of notices, and attend hearings.\
  • Tax Planning and Advisory: Provide tax planning, advisory, and risk management support to the organization.\
  • Commercial Tax Departments: Deal with commercial tax departments and consultants/auditors for tax audit, statutory audit, and other reviews.\
  • Tax Related Advisory: Provide Tax related advisory on business transactions, vendor/customers contracts, and new business models.\
  • Financial Statements: Prepare and review monthly and annual tax provisions and tax disclosures in financial statements.\
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding tax-related matters.\
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to ensure efficient compliance.\
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their tax knowledge and skills.\
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports and analysis to senior management on tax-related matters.\
  • Regulatory Updates: Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and updates, and advise the organization on any necessary actions.\
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of compliance professionals to ensure that tax obligations are met.\
