The successful candidate will provide support to the Process Research team by assisting in reaction monitoring, characterization, and data generation of submitted compounds, final product assay method development, analysis of impurities, physical characterizations, residue content, and stability studies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively contribute to the overall success of PI Industries through scientific contributions and team performance.
  • Remain at the forefront of knowledge required for new a.i. discovery activity in crop protection through continuous updating of personal knowledge and skills.
  • Develop and implement efficient methods for experimental determination of phys-chem parameters.
  • Conduct analysis of phys-chem experimental results using Microsoft Excel and GraphPad Prism.
  • Prepare study strategies and implement them as per SOP.
  • Document and report analytical results.
  • Comply with all safety requirements of the role.

Requirements

  • MSc in Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or Agriculture from a reputable university or institute with excellent academic credentials.
  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in assay of a.i. by potentiometry, HPLC, GC, impurity purification/analysis.
  • Experience in chromatography method validation is an added advantage.

  • Agro Chemical/Pharma Generics/Research Universities or Institutes.
  • Scientific Knowledge, Research Approach, Data Analysis, Experimental Skills.
