Job Title: Senior Frontend Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced frontend engineer to join our team and work on high-traffic e-commerce applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in React/Next.js development and experience with modern web technologies.

  • Architect, develop, and optimize large-scale React/Next.js web applications for e-commerce.
  • Implement server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), API routes/middleware, and reusable component libraries.
  • Integrate RESTful and GraphQL services; collaborate with backend teams to model clean contracts.
  • Own state management using React Query, Redux, or Zustand and performance tuning.
  • Drive continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, testing, and release quality; champion accessibility and security best practices.
  • Collaborate across product, design, and DevOps teams; lead code reviews and mentor engineers.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 7+ years of web development experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with React.js and/or Next.js, including Hooks (useState, useEffect, useContext, useRef, useMemo, useCallback).
  • 5+ years of JavaScript/TypeScript experience with deep knowledge of modern tooling.
  • 3+ years of experience architecting large-scale, high-traffic e-commerce applications.
  • 2+ years of experience designing REST APIs and/or implementing GraphQL.
  • 2+ years of experience working with cloud platforms (preferably GCP).
  • 2+ years of experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Strong performance optimization, debugging, and observability skills.

  • Healthcare domain exposure (compliance, PII/PHI handling).
  • Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
  • Knowledge of SEO, Web Vitals, micro-frontends, and cloud platforms (Vercel/Cloud Run).
