Software Development Expert

We are looking for a skilled and experienced software development expert to join our team. As a senior full-stack engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software solutions.

  • Candidates should have a strong background in web development, with experience in programming languages such as Ruby on Rails and JavaScript. Proficiency in building rich user interfaces with React and Redux is also required.
  • They should have good database design skills and experience with unit testing frameworks like RSpec for Ruby, and Vitest and Jest for JavaScript.
  • Able to work effectively in a collaborative environment, communicating with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of customers and stakeholders.
  2. Work closely with UX designers, technical project managers, and other engineers to build intuitive and powerful workflows that solve critical business problems.
  3. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  4. Develop and maintain architecture and design documentation to support Day 2 operations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience writing professional production code.
  • Ruby on Rails integration with Salesforce/Mulesoft using REST APIs is a huge plus.
  • Experience building rich web UIs with React (and Redux) or similar frameworks.
  • Good database design skills in a relational database (we use Postgres).
  • Unit testing frameworks like RSpec for Ruby, and Vitest and Jest for JavaScript.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proven problem-solving skills and curious to tackle open-ended problems across the stack.
  • Skilled in leveraging modern tooling with a strong understanding of integrating AI technologies to improve project outcomes.
  • Understanding of DevOps processes for continuous deployment.
