Job Role:

The IT Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day activities of the IT department, working closely with team members to ensure smooth IT system operation.

This role requires management of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications. Ensuring the availability and reliability of IT systems is key.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise IT Team: Assist in managing the IT operations team to ensure the efficient functioning of all IT systems.
  • Support Team Development: Supervise and mentor IT staff, providing guidance and support for optimal performance.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct thorough performance evaluations, offering constructive feedback to promote growth.
Tech Requirements:
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services is essential.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously is necessary.
  • Cybersecurity Understanding: A clear understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices is crucial.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant Certifications: Holding relevant certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar can be beneficial.
  • Deep ITSM Knowledge: Having a deep understanding of IT service management (ITSM) and IT operations management can be an asset.

A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Additionally, at least 5 years of experience in IT operations, with 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role, is highly valued.
