About the Role

The Software Engineer Team Lead provides day-to-day technical guidance and leadership to a development team ensuring on-time and high-quality project delivery.

You will be working with a highly technical team of software engineers that develops fire solution software for various applications and industries. As the team lead, you will be the primary point of contact with the US-based architecture team and work with, coach, and support the local development team to deliver on our commitments.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate, design, and implement software solutions to solve engineering and architectural design problems.
  • Hands-on development of the software and provide technical guidance/mentoring to other SW Engineers.
  • Collaborate with product management and product owner to refine functional and non-functional requirements for new software applications.
  • Work with an agile team to plan, refine, and estimate backlog sizing.
  • Coach other developers, and delegate work assignments.
  • Enforce code standards through code reviews.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements within the Agile software development process.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts, together being accountable to achieve the project's vision and objectives.
  • Effectively communicate concepts and guidelines to the development team.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Infrastructure, Architecture, Cybersecurity, SQA) for committed objectives.
About YouQualifications and Skills:
  • A bachelor's degree or master's degree in computer science engineering, or related fields.
  • 10-12 years experience building enterprise applications.
  • Proven full-stack development experience including backend and frontend technology stack: C#, .NET Core, .NET Web API, Micro Services, Cloud computing, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, 3js, and PaaS.
  • Proven expertise in 3D Graphics including 3D programming with strong mathematics background.
  • Experience in working with containerization platform like Docker, Kubernetes, and messaging services.
  • Experience with unit testing utilizing frameworks such as xUnit.
  • Experience working with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, SQLite, or PostgreSQL.
  • Working experience in Git
  • Communicate well with team members and other stakeholders with diverse background.
  • Ability to work in Agile environment
  • Self-motivated and driven to be successful.
  • Analytical with creative problem-solving skills.
