Cloud Security Expert Wanted

A leading technology firm is seeking a seasoned Cloud Security professional to bolster its security posture.

  • Conduct thorough security audits and assessments of our infrastructure, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing remediation strategies.
  • Demonstrate expertise in using Terraform and other infrastructure as code tools, managing security policies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to address security incidents and provide support during the incident resolution process.
  • Lead application code reviews, working closely with developers to ensure secure coding practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Experience with SAST, SCA, and DAST tools, with the ability to address complex security challenges.
  • Implement and manage security tools within the CI/CD pipeline, focusing on DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Monitor and analyze logs, events, and metrics to identify potential security threats and emerging risks.
  • Understand runtime security, image scanning, network security, access control, host OS hardening, and vulnerability management in container environments.
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans, procedures, and playbooks for effective handling of security incidents and breaches.
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust security measures for our cloud infrastructure, including VPCs, security groups, IAM roles, and access controls.
  • Maintain security hardening configurations and guidelines for diverse cloud services.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering, preferably in AWS Cloud, with at least 2 areas of specialization: cloud security, web application security, incident response, threat hunting, or cybersecurity operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, best practices, and common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10)
  • Familiarity with SAST, DAST, Fuzzing, and other security tools.
  • Experience with Wiz, Prisma Cloud, Jira, Confluence, and Terraform/CloudFormation (Infrastructure as Code)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
  • Experience with security technologies like firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, antivirus, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Good understanding of cloud security architecture, security assessments, audit standards for the Cloud, and security threats in the Cloud.
  • Solid understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and network security concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and problem solve effectively.
Desirable Skills
  • Automation experience with AWS, relevant certifications like AWS Certified Security - Specialty, CISSP, CEH are highly desirable.
  • Experience working in a global fast-paced environment covering multiple time zones.
