- Designing and implementing efficient Databricks cluster configurations to support data processing workloads
- Monitoring and troubleshooting cluster performance to ensure optimal availability and responsiveness
- Collaborating with data engineering and science teams to develop and deploy data analytics workflows
- Implementing security best practices to safeguard data confidentiality, integrity, and availability
- Automating routine tasks using scripting and orchestration tools to enhance productivity
- Working closely with infrastructure and cloud teams to provision and manage resources for Databricks clusters
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience as a Databricks Administrator or in a similar role managing big data platforms
- In-depth knowledge of Databricks architecture, components, and deployment best practices
- Hands-on experience with configuring and optimizing Databricks clusters for performance and scalability
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
