Endpoint Security Analyst Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Endpoint Security Specialist to safeguard our organization's endpoint security infrastructure. This includes deploying, configuring, and maintaining endpoint security solutions such as antivirus software, EDR tools, and other security components.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy and Configure Endpoint Security Solutions: Implement, configure, and maintain endpoint security solutions to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Incident Response and Management: Investigate and respond to security incidents involving endpoints, analyze malware, conduct forensic investigations, and recommend remediation actions.
  • Monitoring and Analysis: Continuously monitor endpoint security systems and logs for signs of potential threats or vulnerabilities, perform regular security assessments, and vulnerability scans.
  • Policies and Procedures: Assist in the development and implementation of endpoint security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaboration and Training: Work with IT teams and other departments to ensure endpoint security measures are integrated and effective across the organization, provide training and guidance to end-users on security best practices.
  • Documentation and Research: Maintain accurate records of endpoint security configurations, incidents, SOPs, and actions taken, prepare reports, and documentation for management review, stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or any security-related certificate are preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with endpoint security tools and technologies, knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and their security features.
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex security data and provide actionable insights, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
