Job Title: Lead MERN Stack Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead MERN Stack Developer to join our team at Valarr. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of full-stack applications using the MERN stack.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of full-stack applications using the MERN stack.
  • Architect and implement robust, scalable, and secure back-end services and APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features.
  • Take ownership of the entire development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and beyond.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.
  • Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing strategic guidance for future improvements.
  • Implement best practices for code management, testing, and deployment.
  • Continuously explore and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance the product and development process.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a MERN Stack Developer, with a strong portfolio of projects built from scratch in a startup environment.
  • Solid experience with MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
  • Strong understanding of web development concepts, including RESTful API design, microservices, and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to write clean, modular, and scalable code, following best practices and design patterns.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record of mentoring and leading development teams.
  • A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
