Senior Operations Specialist Job Title

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day laboratory operations, ensuring accurate analysis and addressing technical issues.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Testing of soil, water and product biodegradation studies (marine/soil/compost/anaerobic)
  • Managing daily operations at the laboratory including coordinating lab assignments to Analysts/Lab Technicians
  • Ensuring accurate analysis at all times by maintaining records and analyzing quality control sample results
  • Addressing all technical issues that arise from routine analysis and conferring with the Head of Lab on critical issues
  • Performing instrument calibrations and maintenance as per schedule
  • Training laboratory analysts and controlling lab equipment and supply inventory
  • Second line support to Laboratory Manager in their absence and following up on NCRs and implementing corrective actions
  • Establishing and maintaining internal relationships

Requirements:

A Master’s degree in Micro/Biochem/Biotech; 5-7 years’ experience in the service industry.
