Job Title: Medical Gastroenterologist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Medical Gastroenterologist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background in gastroenterology, with excellent teaching, mentoring, and research skills.

">About the Role

The Medical Gastroenterologist will be responsible for delivering lectures and tutorials on gastrointestinal physiology, pathology, and clinical management. They will also participate in outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology services, assist in and teach diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, and guide residents and students during ward rounds, procedures, and case management.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and mentor students and junior doctors in gastroenterology, including anatomy, physiology, and clinical management.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with gastrointestinal disorders.
  • Conduct and publish research in areas related to gastroenterology, including hepatology, inflammatory bowel disease, and gastrointestinal oncology.
  • Develop and deliver educational programs for healthcare professionals and patients on gastrointestinal health and disease.
">Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and specialist training in gastroenterology (DM/DNB or equivalent).
  • Registration with the medical council (as per national/state regulations).
  • Excellent teaching, mentoring, and research skills.
  • Strong clinical and communication skills.
