Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our Client's amazing team. This is a senior-level position requiring a minimum of 6 years to a maximum of 10 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will spearhead backend development, leveraging their expertise in microservices, PHP, and system design to create and manage scalable backend systems.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in Microservices (Mandatory skill) with a deep understanding of its architecture.
  • Expertise in PHP (Mandatory skill) for backend development.
  • Strong grasp of System Design (Mandatory skill) principles to build scalable solutions.
  • Proficiency in creating and consuming RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration of services.
  • Excellent database management skills, capable of designing and optimizing complex database schemas.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Demonstrated team leadership experience with the capability to mentor and guide junior developers.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead backend development projects ensuring adherence to industry best practices and company standards.
  • Architect, design, develop, and deploy scalable and resilient backend microservices.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design functional, cohesive code.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
  • Optimize system performance and address scalability issues to handle growing user base and data volume.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of application data through robust authentication and authorization implementations.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to keep the codebase current and effective.
  • Mentor junior developers, fostering their growth and ensuring the team's technical proficiency.
