Job Title: Storage Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Storage Specialist to join our team.

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills and knowledge of enterprise storage systems. As a Storage Specialist, you will be responsible for providing level 2/level 3 support for storage systems in a mission-critical banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and Troubleshoot: Provide timely and effective support and troubleshooting for storage systems, including performing daily health checks, monitoring, and routine tasks.
  • Alert Management: Acknowledge and triage alerts, log and update incidents in ServiceNow/BMC.
  • Backup and Restore: Execute backups/restores and routine jobs under change and supervision.
  • Escalation: Escalate issues to level 2/level 3 teams with accurate diagnostics, logs, and metrics.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Disaster Recovery: Participate in DR/BCP drills to maintain platform readiness.
  • Troubleshooting: Strong documentation, evidence-driven troubleshooting, and clear communication with stakeholders.
  • On-Call Support: Ownership mindset with readiness for 24x7 support and on-call rotation.

Required Skills:

  • Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE Storage certifications
  • Brocade/Cisco SAN certifications; AWS S3/Object Storage fundamentals
