Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

The role of a Financial Operations Manager involves overseeing the day-to-day financial operations, preparing and presenting financial statements, as well as ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

This is a critical function that requires strategic planning, risk management, and excellent leadership skills. The Financial Operations Manager will oversee various aspects of financial management, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

Key responsibilities include preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, monitoring cash flow, investments, and cash forecasting, managing budgeting processes, and supporting cross-functional departmental budget planning.

Additionally, the Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with GAAP and local tax regulations, timely and accurate filing of all GST returns and income tax returns, handling GST audits, assessments, and departmental notices, and coordinating internal and external audits.

Other key responsibilities include providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making, collaborating with senior management on financial planning and risk management, evaluating financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts, supervising and mentoring accounting staff, and ensuring continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 10–15 years of experience in financial management and accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
