About the Role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst with 7+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst, you will play a crucial role in manual and automation testing. You will collaborate closely with our development teams to identify issues, report defects, and assist in maintaining a high level of software quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans for frontend systems.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain e-2-e tests using playwright.
  • Conduct thorough regression testing to identify and address software defects and ensure overall system stability.
  • Regularly check the performance of the website.
  • Collaborate with developers to understand system architecture and design effective testing strategies.
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and other QA engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Analyze business requirements, implementation documentation, and design specifications for validity, testability, and feasibility.
  • Develop and maintain existing automation frameworks.
  • Set up, monitor the environment, and keep track of the release pipeline, handle failed e-2-e tests, and either fix them or escalate them.
  • Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
  • Contribute new ideas within the QA chapter/guild together with other testers.
  • Help with process improvements to increase work efficiency and quality delivered.
  • Act as a domain expert that holds together the customer journey throughout the whole system.
  • Be comfortable using tools like React Profiler for performance monitoring.
  • Test the responsiveness of the website and cross-browser testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a focus on frontend testing.
  • Experience with manual testing and exploratory testing.
  • Strong proficiency in Javascript, ES6, and Typescript.
  • Experience with Playwright.
  • Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Professional command of English.
  • 8+ years of experience within software testing.

Meritorious

  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Experience in testing React applications.
  • Experience in working with React applications.
  • Previous experience in the travel industry is a plus.
