Financial Operations Specialist

This role involves managing the financial aspects of our plant operations. Responsibilities include preparing and presenting financial reports to stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and general ledgers.
  • Analyze cost structures and identify areas for cost reduction, implementing cost control measures and tracking performance against cost targets.
  • Monitor and control plant expenditures, ensuring cost efficiency and optimization.
  • Manage material procurement and processing, including inventory valuation and periodical factory and warehouse inventory audits.
  • Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions as needed, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
  • ICWA qualified or semi-qualified/CMA semi-qualified with at least 5 years of experience in costing.
  • Strong knowledge of costing principles, plant accounting, and data handling.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to work in a team environment.
