At the forefront of cloud innovation, we're seeking a visionary Cloud Data Engineer to spearhead the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge cloud-based solutions on Azure or AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the creation and enhancement of cloud-based solutions that propel business growth and digital transformation.
  • Implement and manage real-time data streaming and messaging systems using Kafka, driving seamless data exchange across our platforms.
  • Develop scalable applications and services leveraging Java and Python, ensuring robust performance and efficiency in our data infrastructure.
  • Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications using Kubernetes, fostering a dynamic and agile environment for innovation.
  • Build and optimize big data processing pipelines using Databricks, unlocking insights and value from vast datasets.
  • Manage and maintain databases, including SQL Server and Snowflake, and write complex SQL scripts to drive business outcomes.
  • Work with Unix/Linux commands to manage and monitor system operations, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Skills:

  • Expertise in Azure or AWS cloud platforms, with a focus on innovative solution design.
  • Proficiency in Kafka, Java, Python, and Kubernetes, driving scalability and efficiency in our data ecosystem.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks for big data processing, unlocking insights and value from vast datasets.
  • Strong database management skills with SQL Server, Snowflake, and advanced SQL scripting, driving business outcomes through data-driven decision making.
  • Solid understanding of Unix/Linux commands, ensuring optimal performance and reliability in our system operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience), demonstrating a strong foundation in software development and data engineering principles.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud and data engineering roles, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions and driving business growth.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges and find creative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deliver results under pressure.
