Job Summary:

The Senior Credit Risk Analyst is responsible for delivering comprehensive counterparty credit risk management solutions to funds, proprietary trading groups, and CCPs within the RISQ/RMA/HPC team.

The role entails thorough research and analysis of financial data to prepare high-quality analysis addressing client credit risk and transaction risk. Additionally, the analyst will perform detailed risk assessments, challenge credit ratings and limits, monitor risk exposures, and propose effective risk mitigation strategies as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct rigorous research and analysis of financial data to prepare superior analysis
  • Perform in-depth risk assessments and challenge credit ratings and limits
  • Monitor risk exposures and recommend optimal risk mitigation strategies
  • Present recommendations for risk limits and credit ratings to risk officers
  • Collaborate with Business Lines, Legal staffs, Global advisory divisions, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of overall credit analysis experience in a Financial Institution space
  • CA degree /MBA (in Finance) from a reputable institution
  • Additional certification like Financial Risk Management (FRM) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is advantageous
