Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing scalable data processing pipelines using Spark and Scala
  • Developing and maintaining big data infrastructure including Hadoop, Hive, and Sqoop
  • Ensuring high-performance data processing and low latency data retrieval
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement data warehousing and information management best practices
  • Maintaining and improving the overall quality of the codebase
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • 4+ years of experience in IT with a strong background in Spark and Scala
  • Excellent knowledge of big data infrastructure, distributed systems, data modeling, query processing, and relational databases
  • Experience with Unix shell scripting and No-SQL databases such as Cassandra
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, written communication, oral communication, and listening skills
  • Bachelor of Engineering in CS/IT/ECE stream preferred
