Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled IT Operations Support specialist to manage and oversee production systems during night shifts, ensuring smooth operations and prompt response to incidents.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely completion of End-of-Day (EOD) and Beginning-of-Day (BOD) job processes.
  • Coordinate DC and DR failover activities to ensure the availability and reliability of critical systems.
  • Patching activities must ensure all systems have the latest security and functionality updates.
  • Collaborate with different teams to address and resolve production issues efficiently.
  • Prepare comprehensive periodic status reports detailing performance, incidents, and improvements made during the week.
  • Manage Linux-based systems for optimal performance, security, and availability.
  • Evaluate and optimize system performance.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in handling financial critical system operation for Exchange, Clearing Corporation, or banking industry.
  • Expertise with EOD/BOD in production environment, DC/DR Switch & Failovers, Linux, Control-M, Dynatrace.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Able to work independently and make critical decisions during the night shift.
