Mortgage Loan Boarding Expert

The role of a Senior Product Specialist involves working closely with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product requirements. This includes collaborating with stakeholders to understand customer needs, developing detailed product roadmaps, and ensuring the successful delivery of products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the mortgage loan boarding domain and excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate product requirements to technical and non-technical audiences. Experience with Agile methodologies, such as SAFe or Scrum, is highly desirable, as is proficiency in defining User Story acceptance criteria using GWT format.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining the product backlog to ensure prioritized stories are delivered on time and meet customer needs.
- Collaborating with development teams to create and clearly communicate user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Leading user story mapping sessions and participating in large group planning sessions to coordinate work with other product specialists.
- Working closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze information from multiple sources to inform product decisions.
Knowledge and qualifications include:
- A bachelor's degree or MBA, preferably in a related field such as finance, banking, or business administration.
- At least 8 years of experience in product development, with at least 3 years in a product ownership role.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make informed decisions based on data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
Preferred qualifications include:
- SAFe or Agile certification.
- Experience working in ADO in a scaled Agile environment.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps and .Net/React.
