Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert tax advice to clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

About the Role:

  • Support tax authorities with assessment proceedings, ensuring timely submissions and efficient communication.
  • Liaise with tax authorities on ongoing matters, utilizing strong analytical skills to resolve complex issues.
  • Draft rectification applications and submissions, demonstrating excellent technical writing abilities.
  • Conduct research on direct tax and transfer pricing issues, preparing detailed technical submissions.
  • Prepare replies for tax authorities (penalty proceedings, stay of demand, etc.), showcasing strong negotiation skills.
  • File corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Independently handle TDS returns, leveraging strong organizational skills.
  • Prepare advance tax computations based on estimates, displaying proficiency in financial analysis.
  • Assist in advising on international tax matters, including DTAA provisions, exhibiting a deep understanding of global tax implications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (C.A.) or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 1-4 years of relevant tax experience, preferably in a Big 4 firm or MNC.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate tax and international tax regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities; attention to detail.
  • Business acumen with adaptability.
  • Proactive and resourceful with strong initiative.
