We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Tax Specialist.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting and reviewing deal documents, such as term sheets, loan agreements, SPAs, disclosures, BTA, merger schemes, reps, and warranties.
- Providing advisory services on structuring deals from a tax perspective, including foreign exchange control regulations, domestic tax laws, double taxation avoidance agreements, stamp duty, and other allied laws.
- Handholding clients in conceptualizing deals, with a focus on India entry/exit strategy, favorable holding jurisdiction, tax efficiency, and commercial rationale.
- Advisory assignments on international tax issues, including PE, profit attribution, business connection, expat tax, ESOPs, indirect transfer, POEM, capital repatriation, royalty, FTS, broadcasting rights, and tax-transparent entities.
The ideal candidate will have experience in structuring and advising on deals from a tax perspective.
A strong understanding of Indian tax laws and regulations is essential for this role.
