Informatica Developer Job Overview

This role focuses on delivering Informatica solutions that drive business outcomes and exceed customer expectations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining Informatica mappings, workflows, and sessions. They will also perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from diverse sources, execute file validation scripts, and provide operational support for daily feeds across multiple geographies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Integration:
  2. Develop and maintain Informatica mappings, workflows, and sessions.
  3. Perform ETL from various sources such as flat files, Oracle DB, Salesforce, SAP, and others.
  4. Execute file validation scripts, encryption/decryption, file creation, and secure transfers.
  5. Data Support:
  6. Support month-end activities, ensuring timely data loads and reconciliations.
  7. Monitor and troubleshoot ETL job failures, system performance, and process bottlenecks.
  8. Collaboration:
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support inflight projects.
  10. Operational Support:
  11. Provide operational support for daily feeds across multiple geographies.
  12. Process Improvement:
  13. Participate in Informatica upgrade projects and contribute to process improvement, documentation, and automation of recurring tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  1. 3–7 years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter / IICS.
  2. Strong expertise in ETL design, development, and performance tuning.
  3. Hands-on experience integrating with SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, and file-based systems.
  4. Familiarity with file encryption/decryption tools and secure data transfer protocols.
  5. Experience handling large-scale data and troubleshooting skills for job failures and connection issues.
  6. Preferred Qualifications:
  7. Experience with Informatica upgrades and migration projects.
  8. Familiarity with legacy systems and cloud integration.
  9. Strong communication skills to coordinate with business/IT teams.
