As a seasoned technical professional, we're seeking an individual to drive innovation and growth by defining and implementing strategic technical roadmaps that align with our company's priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tech Leadership: Define and ensure alignment of technical strategies, architecture, and standards, while prioritizing modernisation initiatives, including cloud-first and AI-enhanced solutions.
  • Squad Enablement: Pave the way for autonomous delivery, removing blockers, decoupling applications, and streamlining processes through tech enablers like DevOps, containerisation, and API-first design.
  • Solution Planning: Plan, define, and design solutions, assisting squads in selecting suitable technologies and ensuring sound architectural decisions.
  • Tech Capability Requirements: Work with Chapter leads to define and forecast technical capability requirements, supporting the implementation of practices, tooling, and training provided by Crew.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive operational excellence and support teams responsible for mission-critical production services, managing diverse stakeholders and complex dependencies.
  • Design and Technical Debt: Ensure good design, refactoring, and technical debt elimination, making technical debt and its impacts visible to Crew and working with POs to reduce it over time.
  • Delivery Management: Ensure delivery within funding allocation, actively managing and mitigating delivery and delivered risk.
  • People Management: Accountable for the development, performance management, and career progression of Technology roles, such as Software and Systems Engineers.
Requirements:
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript, or C#) and experience developing microservices architecture on cloud platforms (AWS & Azure).
  • Cloud Experience: Cloud - AWS large scale data warehouse implementation experience.
  • Ai/Ml Experience: Extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, and reliable software solutions, working knowledge of AI/ML and Gen AI applications, and ability to enhance software engineering processes to improve productivity.
  • Agentic Ai Systems: Preferably have experience building Agentic AI systems using AutoGen, CrewAI, Pydantic, or similar frameworks.
  • RAGs Building: You will have experience building RAGs using LlamaIndex, LangChain, or similar frameworks.
  • Daily User of AI Coding Assistants: A keen interest in researching new AI tooling and you are a daily user of AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Continue, GitHub CoPilot, Aider, Cline, etc.
  • Strong Technical Leadership Skills: Strong technical leadership skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders to solve business-critical problems.
Desirable Skills:
  • Anthropic Claude: Knowledge of or experience in Anthropic Claude, Llama, LiteLLM, Cursor, windsurf / Codeium, VO Vercel, Continue, Aider, Cline, Langchain, Langgraph, Hugging Face.
  • Strong Leadership Skill: Strong leadership skill.
