Responsibilities include:

  • Executing fieldwork and testing across multiple areas of laws – AML, Privacy, Anti-corruption, Consumer Protection & Fairness.
  • Designing overall testing programs with strong independent risk assessment skills.
  • Regular dialogue and communication on work progress and findings with the Manager Compliance Testing Team.
  • Leading conversations with senior stakeholders (Directors, VPs) during kick offs, testing and issue alignment discussions.
  • Training and mentoring colleagues in upskilling relevant knowledge and practices.
  • Collaborating with Compliance leadership on strategic initiatives and presentations to senior leadership.
  • Developing remediation plans to address findings.
  • Detecting and identifying emerging regulatory risks or impending legislation that may impact the Compliance Monitoring Plan.
Key Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in internal audit, regulatory compliance within the Big Four or a bank/financial institution with preferably Anti-Money Laundering background.
  • Academic Background: Good academic qualification with experience in compliance or legal and Anti-Money Laundering knowledge would be an added advantage.
  • Chartered Accounts, CPA, CIA, ACAMS, MBA and individuals with certifications in audit would be preferred.
