Director of Strategic Growth and Development

This senior leadership role is responsible for driving strategic growth and development across various aspects of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategy consulting and experience in developing comprehensive risk strategies.

The Director will lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement business growth initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and market trends. Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop a multi-year roadmap that aligns with business objectives and drives growth through strategic partnerships and initiatives.
  • Thought Leadership: Establish the organization as a recognized leader in risk management by creating compelling narratives and strategic insights.
  • Content Management: Develop a content management framework that covers creation of thought leadership content, central repository, and delivery through various channels.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop a stakeholder governance framework to accelerate execution and drive high-quality outputs.
  • Market Mapping: Develop plans for industry events, conferences, and webinars to showcase risk capabilities and drive meaningful dialogue.

Qualifications include:

  • Strategy Consulting Background: 12+ years of hands-on strategy development experience at top-tier management consulting firms or equivalent strategy roles.
  • Educational Foundation: Advanced degree from a top-tier institution with a strong analytical foundation.
  • Industry Experience: Deep experience in financial services required, with payments industry experience advantageous but not essential.

  • Self-Starter Mentality: Proven ability to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and drive implementation without supervision.
  • Results-Driven Approach: Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable outcomes and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Entrepreneurial Drive: Self-motivated individual with a strong ownership mindset who thrives in ambiguous situations.

Additional preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience organizing large-scale industry events and client engagement activities
  • Track record of building high-performing strategy or consulting teams
  • Strong network within financial services and payments ecosystem
