Senior Automation Test Expert

About This Role

This is a high-profile position in the Data & Analytics Team, focused on ensuring quality and reliability of multiple products. The Senior Specialist plays a critical part in the overall product delivery lifecycle by validating new products, existing product enhancements, defect fixes, and recommending improvements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with AWS Analytics Platform team-members to define test strategies for multiple products
  • Drive standard execution of multiple test phases (system, integration, functional, regression, acceptance, performance etc.)
  • Ensure all test-related deliverables meet quality standards according to defined processes
  • Regularly collaborate with eCompliance, Quality Managers, Security Architects / Managers for review of different artifacts
  • Enable automation using approved tools or in-house developed frameworks as required
  • Expand testing scope to include boundary cases, negative cases, edge/corner cases etc.
  • Integrate testing with DevOps pipeline using tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory for one-click test & deployment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, or any other relevant technology field
  • Engineering or computer science degree with 8+ years' experience in quality engineering/testing space
  • Strong expertise on manual testing and automation testing using tools like Selenium, Postman, Jmeter
  • Excellent knowledge of programming languages JAVA, with good understanding of Python
  • Experience working with AWS technologies EC2, EBS, EFS, ECS, EKS, S3, Cloudtrail, IAM etc.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools like Bitbucket, GIT, Jenkins, Artifactory
  • JIRA & Confluence knowledge is essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a global environment
  • Ability to adapt to new learning approaches and methods
  • Participation in Agile development team and Scrum ceremonies
