Visual Content Creator Job Description

Our team is seeking a skilled and creative Visual Content Creator to join our ranks. In this role, you will be responsible for designing high-quality visual assets across multiple platforms, including Instagram carousels and stories, YouTube thumbnails, email graphics, and other digital content.

This is a full-time remote position ideal for designers who can work independently while managing multiple projects at once.

  • Create engaging Instagram content, including carousels, reels covers, and story graphics that capture the audience's attention.
  • Design compelling YouTube thumbnails optimized for performance and click-through, incorporating essential information and branding.
  • Develop visually cohesive email marketing graphics, such as headers and promotional banners that align with the brand's aesthetic.
  • Translate briefs or high-level concepts into polished, on-brand designs with minimal direction, demonstrating your creativity and expertise.
  • Maintain consistent branding across multiple brands with distinct aesthetics, ensuring a cohesive visual identity.
  • Collaborate with the content and marketing team to repurpose photos, videos, and short-form content into graphics that engage the target audience.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media design trends and platform requirements, applying this knowledge to create innovative visual solutions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in graphic design, preferably with a focus on social media.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva, or Figma, with a strong understanding of their capabilities and limitations.
  • Strong typography, layout, and visual storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives through design.
  • Ability to write concise, engaging copy for graphics when needed, demonstrating your versatility as a designer.
  • Solid understanding of design requirements across platforms (Instagram, YouTube, email), ensuring that your designs meet the necessary specifications.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with motion graphics or video editing for reels and stories, adding an extra layer of depth and engagement to your designs.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp), enabling you to optimize your designs for maximum impact.
