Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Associate to join our team. As a key member of our finance operations, you will be responsible for managing statutory filings, compliance with regulatory requirements, and financial statement preparation.

About the Role:

  • Manage client relationships for statutory filings, compliance, and financial statement preparation
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory forms and returns
  • Monitor and stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns
  • Manage Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) compliance, including deduction, payment, and filing of TDS returns
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve legal or compliance issues
  • Ensure compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations
  • Provide accurate and reliable financial information to clients
  • Maintain proper documentation and records
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 0-1 years of experience in finance operations, statutory filings, and financial statements preparation
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, tax provisions, TDS regulations, GST laws, and financial reporting standards
  • Familiarity with accounting software and tools
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining client confidentiality
