Job Title: Senior Software Tester

  • This is a challenging role for a senior software tester to join our company. You will be responsible for developing and executing test cases, reporting defects, and collaborating with developers.
  • Your primary goal is to ensure that our products meet the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and data to validate product functionality.
  2. Identify, document, and report defects found during testing.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve defects and improve product quality.
  4. Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues.
  5. Analyze and troubleshoot issues using debugging techniques and tools.
  6. Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects.

Requirements:

  • Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in software testing with expertise in manual and automated testing.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in SQL, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mastery of Git, Jenkins, Maven, and CICD Tools.
  • Knowledge of RESTful Web services API automation using REST Assured.
  • Experience in creating test automation for APIs, single or multiple microservices.
  • Familiarity with cloud-hosted applications and customer-facing applications.
  • Prior experience in payments industry desirable but not essential.
