Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to join our team as a Career Lawyer. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced legal counsel to make a meaningful impact on our business operations.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing expert guidance and oversight to teams, with a focus on compliance, regulations, and risk management.

  • Provide close support and guidance to business teams on regulatory matters, including HR compliances, product-related compliances, permits, licenses, and approvals.
  • Assist in the preparation of compliance checklists for new product introductions and other business-related compliances.
  • Advise on the impact and consequences of new laws and regulations affecting our businesses.
  • Handle legal matters related to aftersales operations, logistics, HR, admin, and internal support functions.
  • Draft and review various agreements, including master service agreements, repair services agreements, employment agreements, and commercial agreements.
  • Liaise with government, regulatory, and quasi-judicial authorities as required.
  • Advise business teams on strategizing and resolving legal issues in existing commercial relationships, potential disputes, and addressing government inquiries.
  • Prioritize and manage external counsels effectively.
  • Provide strategic and practical legal advice to business teams, breaking down complex legal issues for them to understand associated risks and make informed decisions.

Requirements

  • L.L.B Degree from a recognized university in India.
  • 4-7 years of experience.
  • Preferred experience in managing product and HR compliances, contract drafting, review, and negotiation as an in-house counsel or law firm.
  • Ability to work efficiently and proactively on multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
  • Strong verbal and analytical skills, exceptional interpersonal skills, cross-cultural skills, and highly team-oriented.
  • Flawless language and drafting skills.
  • Solid business acumen and willingness to work in an unstructured environment and interact comfortably with business and management persons.
  • Strategic legal thinking and capable of arriving at practical solutions.
