Job Title

The primary role of a Network Engineer is to manage and own support tickets related to existing customer services.

  • Effective communication with customers via various means.
  • Providing network support for incoming customer queries and escalations from the service desk.
  • Taking ownership and effectively managing support tickets for incidents, change, and service requests.

Key technical skills include:

  • Switching: Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, HP, Dell, Juniper.
  • Wireless: Cisco, Meraki, Aruba.
  • Security: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA.
  • SD-WAN: Citrix, Viptela, Meraki, Fortinet.
  • Advanced knowledge of layer 2 and 3 protocols.
  • Proficient in packet capture and interpretation.

Required qualifications include:

  • Demonstrable knowledge at CCNP or JNCIP-ENT level.
  • In-depth knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting network security devices/protocols.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and isolate faults to identify root cause and bring to resolution.
