Job Title: Experienced Web Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished web developer to enhance our team's technical capabilities. This full-time position requires a seasoned professional with 6+ years of comprehensive experience in web development, encompassing both frontend and backend responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP and modern technologies.
  • Create and optimize MySQL database structures, queries, and performance tuning for efficient data management.
  • Develop responsive user interfaces using jQuery and popular JavaScript frameworks.
  • Customize WordPress themes, plugins, and manage WordPress-based projects to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Develop robust applications using the CodeIgniter PHP framework.
  • Implement and maintain DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes to ensure streamlined delivery.
  • Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, RDS, S3, and other AWS services for scalability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across the full technology stack efficiently.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of professional web development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP programming with object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Extensive experience with MySQL database design, optimization, and management.
  • Solid knowledge of jQuery and JavaScript for frontend development.
  • Proven expertise in WordPress development including custom themes and plugins.
  • Hands-on experience with CodeIgniter framework for PHP development.
  • Strong DevOps skills including CI/CD implementation, version control (Git), and automated deployment.
  • Practical experience with AWS services including deployment, monitoring, and scaling applications.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services integration.
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN).

Favorable Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience with additional PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony).
  • Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with additional AWS services (Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch).
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
