Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned game economy expert to craft engaging social casino gaming experiences for players worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Economy Modeling: Design and develop compelling economy models that strike an optimal balance between player experience and monetization.
  • Monetization Systems: Create and balance in-app currencies, progression curves, reward structures, and monetization systems.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data modeling and player segmentation to forecast behavioral trends and evaluate the impact of new features on player satisfaction and performance.
  • KPI Analysis: Continuously iterate on game economy design based on KPI analysis to enhance player engagement and retention.
  • Live Events: Plan and design economy-driven live events and promotions (e.g., sales, challenges, time-limited events).
  • A/B Testing: Conduct and analyze A/B tests for pricing strategies, rewards, and progression tuning to optimize key KPIs related to monetization, engagement, and retention.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed economy specifications, balancing sheets, and documentation for cross-functional teams.
  • System Development: Design systems to prevent exploits, control inflation, and maintain long-term economic stability.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in game economy design, preferably in Social Casino games.
  • Understanding: Deep understanding of free-to-play economy design, monetization strategies, and player psychology.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets or other statistical tools for analytical modeling.
  • Collaboration: Experience working closely with developers, product managers, and analysts.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills.
  • Prioritization: Passion for gaming and a good understanding of the gaming industry.
  • Education: Master's degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, or Engineering.
